Organic Farmhouse homestay is the farmhouse in Palavayal in the midst of ten acres of the organic farm. The owner of the farm is Joy Perumattikunnel, the well- known, award-winning organic farmer. He won the best organic farmer award constituted by Govt of Kerala in 2016, Won the Akshyashree award from The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation for the best organic farmer in the state. He has been awarded more than fifty awards for his innovative agricultural practices. Many varieties of fruit trees, vegetables, spices, cash crops, Desi cow farm, Poultry farm, and fish farm are part of his 10 acres organic farms. He is also an expert bee farmer. Visitors can learn how to keep and harvest bees from him. His farmhouse, built according to traditional Kerala architecture with lots of woods and locally available materials.
